WWE: John Cena shares replace after Roman Reigns orders co-star’s assault

John Cena shared an interesting update ahead of this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown. The veteran retired from in-ring competition following his loss to Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December 2025.

The Cenation Leader will be starring in the Netflix movie Little Brother alongside Eric Andre. During this past Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, Roman Reigns presented Jacob Fatu with an ula fala to officially welcome him into The Bloodline.

Eric Andre was in the first row during the segment and decided to play with Fatu’s ula fala on the entrance ramp. Reigns ordered Fatu to attack the Hollywood star, and The Samoan Werewolf hit him with a Splash in the ring.

Little Brother will be available on Netflix on June 28. Ahead of the movie’s release, Cena responded to several fan questions in a new video, and you can check it out in the post below.

Cena served as the host of WrestleMania 42 earlier this year in Las Vegas. There will also be a tournament later this year called The John Cena Classic, in which fan voting will help determine the victors.

Retired WWE star comments on being a part of John Cena’s retirement tour

AJ Styles recently opened up about being a part of John Cena’s retirement tour and admitted that he wasn’t supposed to be.

Speaking on his Phenomenally Retro podcast, Styles shared that he doesn’t believe he was initially supposed to battle Cena at Crown Jewel and was not sure how the idea came about. The WWE Hall of Famer added that Cena was his friend, and it was awesome to have the match with him.

“I don’t think I was a part of that story until I was. And I’m not even sure how that came about, but I’m certainly happy that it did happen because we were able to tell that story and have fun. And at the end of the day, you know, he’s my friend, and to be able to have that match with me, it’s pretty awesome.”
