WWE legend claims he acquired a concussion in a battle with Brock Lesnar

A WWE legend apparently suffered a significant concussion during his match with Brock Lesnar, which even led to temporary amnesia.

The Undertaker commanded an impressive WrestleMania streak of 21 wins, before it was broken in 2014. At WrestleMania 30, he faced Brock Lesnar in a losing effort, making for one of the most shocking moments in WWE history. The match was intense, and it took Lesnar three consecutive finishers before he was able to pin The Phenom.

According to The Undertaker, he suffered a concusion during the match. Speaking in an interview on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, he said:

“When the streak got broke by Lesnar, I got a really bad concussion and didn’t remember the match. My memory didn’t even start coming back ‘ti, I don’t know. It was 4 or 5 in the morning… It’s kind of like you see on TV, when the doctor comes in and asks you, ‘What’s your name and how old are you?’ They did that about every ten or fifteen minutes and I had no clue.”

He further added that during his temporary amnesia, he only remembered his partner Michelle McCool and Vince McMahon.

“I knew who Michelle [McCool] was, and I knew who Vince [McMahon] was. I couldn’t have told you my name, I couldn’t have told you where I was at. It was really, really bizarre.”

The WWE legend also shared some advice for younger talent

According to The Undertaker, the up and coming stars these days focus too much on hhg-risk moves in the ring.

Speaking in the same interivew, the WWE legend shared some advice for the newcomers. He said:

“I try to get them to calm down a little bit in the sense of all of the crazy—I’ll call them flippy-dos and stuff like that. Wrestling is dangerous enough. Within the course of any match, you’re always just a couple inches away from something really catastrophic happening. And when you start doing double back flips off of things and landing on people, that risk goes up exponentially,” he said.

The Undertaker is currently retired, and is unlikely to come back to the ring in the future.
