WWE Superstar Roman Reigns broke his on-screen character to share an emotional moment with his family on Night Two of WrestleMania 42. The OTC was in action on the show.
After weeks of back and forth on the microphone, Roman Reigns and CM Punk finally locked horns for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 42. Both stars put on an incredible display of action inside the ring, and for the most part, it was a back-and-forth affair.

In the last stages of the match, it seemed like The Second City Saint would go home with the win as he hit Reigns with a GTS, and the OTC bounced off the ropes to land straight on Punk’s shoulders once again. However, this time, The Best in the World didn’t have enough strength to pick up his opponent and go for another GTS.
After CM Punk collapsed, Roman Reigns took advantage of this situation to hit his opponent with a vicious Spear. The OTC didn’t stop there as he went in for another Spear before winning the match via pinfall. The former Bloodline leader is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Following the match, Reigns celebrated inside the ring before going up to his family at ringside. The OTC kissed his children and his wife, breaking his on-screen character for this wholesome moment. He then went inside the ring once again to celebrate his World Heavyweight Championship win with the audience.

Many expected The Rock to return to WWE TV after Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk to tease a possible feud with his cousin, which could culminate at WWE WrestleMania 43. However, that did not happen, and the show ended without any surprises.
It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for Reigns and Punk’s feud going forward.
