Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently fired shots at Becky Lynch. The star is the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
This past week on RAW, AJ Lee got into a brutal war of words with Becky Lynch. As the two stars exchanged verbal jabs, AJ offered Lynch a free punch. Despite the animosity between the two stars, The Man was hesitant and refused to get into a physical altercation.

On a recent episode of Russo’s The Brand, the veteran pointed out that Becky was always trying to be funny. He explained that she was a heel and needed to generate heat, rather than pandering to the fans. Russo felt higher-ups like Bruce Prichard or Triple H needed to have a word with her.
“Becky is supposed to be a heel. She’s trying to be funny. Becky is always trying to be over the top funny. Always, from what she wears, from putting her dukes up, to the funny faces, she tries to be funny. She’s a heel. If a Bruce Prichard can’t tell her that, if a Triple H can’t tell her that, you are a heel!”
The veteran writer shared some advice for the star. He felt she was trying to entertain the fans but that was not her job as a heel.
“Becky, every single time a microphone is in her hand, she is over the top, trying to be funny. Maybe in her mind, she thinks that’s entertaining. I’m trying to entertain. No, you’ve gotta roll as a heel. Your job as a heel is not to make people laugh.”

WWE has made a huge match for Elimination Chamber. The match was made official after AJ confronted Becky on RAW a couple of weeks ago.
Becky Lynch did not want to give AJ the match, but the former Divas Champion blackmailed The Man into giving her an Intercontinental Championship match.
The two megastars will face off at Elimination Chamber on February 28 in Chicago for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
