WWE Superstar Finn Balor shared an emotional tribute to PAC on social media. The two were extremely close, lifelong friends.
Earlier today, the former member of The Judgment Day posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) to share some memories of the real-life Benjamin Satterley, who tragically passed away on September 27. He thanked PAC for being his friend.
Thanks for the submission!
A visibly emotional Finn Balor recalled meeting PAC for the first time on a wrestling mat in the basement of a church in Newcastle when they were kids. He noted that they went on to become great friends and spent a lot of time together in Japan and NXT. Balor added that they traveled the world together with WWE and recalled visiting each other’s families.
“Hey, mate. I just wanna say thanks for being a friend. I’ll never forget meeting you for the first time on some wrestling mats in the basement of a church in Newcastle when we were just kids. And from there, we went on to be such great friends. From our nights out in Japan to our time together in NXT, to traveling the world together with WWE, to visiting my parents in Ireland, to visiting your wife and your mom in Newcastle, and having cups of tea together,” Balor said.
The 45-year-old further opined that they shared a strong bond because they had similar upbringings and values. Balor expressed his love for PAC and noted that the latter would always be with him.
“I think our bond was so strong because we had such similar upbringings, such similar values. We’d have a crack about the football. We’d talk about Father Ted. We talked about pretty much everything except for wrestling. And you’ll be with me everywhere I go. And like we would always say, what a laugh, mate. What a laugh I had with you. I can’t thank you enough. I love you, Ben. Ta-ra, mate,” he added.

Finn Balor is currently chasing the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown
Finn Balor joined the SmackDown roster earlier this year following his exit from The Judgment Day. He soon became an integral part of the blue brand’s show.
The inaugural WWE Universal Champion has been pushing for a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship ever since his arrival on Friday Night SmackDown. However, he has yet to challenge for the title.
Balor’s most recent in-ring appearance saw him compete with CM Punk and Gunther for a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The three veterans traded blows in a closely contested bout that ended with The Second City Saint securing the win.
Only time will tell if and when Finn Balor finally gets to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
