MJF finally got a subtle reaction from Zilla Fatu following their AEW World title match announcement. The Salt of the Earth recently went on an unhinged rant while addressing Zilla and his real-life Anoa’i Bloodline family members, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Rikishi came under fire as well.
It has been made official that MJF will defend his AEW World title against Zilla at the House of Glory No Turning Back event this Friday. Meanwhile, Zilla gave a subtle reaction to the challenge by Max and the rant against his Anoa’i family members with the following emoji on X:

In his promo on House of Glory’s X handle, the AEW World Champion MJF also addressed how many people think Zilla Fatu can be the next big Samoan sensation after The Rock and Roman Reigns. The Salt of the Earth declared Zilla as just a nepo baby, and he’ll prove it in the World title match this Friday at HOG No Turning Back:
“Zilla, people think you’re next up, people think you’ve the potential to become the next Samoan sensation. Like The Rock, like Roman [Reigns], big shoes to fill, my friend. You know what I think? I think you’re just a sloppy Samoan nepo baby backed b*tch, and I’m going to prove it. I’m coming to House of Glory and I’m putting the grandest prize of them all, the triple B, the AEW World Championship on the line,” Max stated.
MJF will defend his AEW World title against the No.1 contender, Hangman Adam Page, at Revlution 2026 if he manages to successfully retain the title against Zilla on February 20th.
