I need to kick his a**

Francis Ngannou recently shared his thoughts on a potential boxing match against Jake Paul and addressed the former Disney star’s diss.

After Paul’s exhibition boxing match against Gervonta Davis last November fell through thanks to the former WBA lightweight champ’s legal troubles, Ngannou was approached to potentially step in as a replacement.

The former UFC heavyweight champion turned down the offer and slammed Paul’s team for even considering him as an option. Paul ultimately faced Anthony Joshua last December and got knocked out in the sixth round. In the aftermath, Paul made it clear that he wanted to fight Ngannou next.

Earlier this week, Paul turned up the heat and dissed Ngannou during an interview. He claimed that the Cameroonian-born fighter was a “terrible boxer” and was ducking a fight out of fear. In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Ngannou reacted to Paul’s comments and said:

“I want to kick this guy’s a**. Jake is just being Jake. I don’t really know what to say about it, he’s being him. He’s always been like that… I think what is annoying me was mostly back in November [after their failed talks], but I know it’s just Jake being Jake. He kept being pushy and saying all these things, which is the same thing that he’s saying now. Now I’m used to it. But back then, that was like the first time he was coming out with it.”

When asked if he was interested in facing Paul in the squared circle, he added:

“If it happens, okay… I’m not [interested] in boxing him, [I want to] kick his a**.”

Jake Paul goes nuclear on Francis Ngannou while making daring claims

Jake Paul recently sounded off on Francis Ngannou and claimed that the former UFC heavyweight champion was afraid of facing him in the boxing ring.

In an interview with Sky Sports Boxing (via @ChampRDS on X), ‘The Problem Child’ said:

“Francis Ngannou was talking a lot of smack. That’s an easy fight for me, I think he’s a terrible boxer. Maybe I’d go back up to heavyweight and knock him out, like Joshua did, render him unconscious. He knows I lasted longer than he did against Joshua… I think he wouldn’t do the fight because deep down he would not want to get embarrassed.”
