Danhausen stops a large title change from taking place on SmackDown after cursing the unsuitable individual

Danhausen was directly involved in a huge Championship match on SmackDown, and after a curse was misdirected, he somehow ended up preventing a title change that was guaranteed at that moment.

For a little context, The Miz and Kit Wilson were visibly rattled by Danhausen’s curse. The other week, he cursed The Miz, who ended up eating a clean shot from Jelly Roll that knocked him out clean. Wilson has also been involved with the former AEW star. Hilariously enough, R-Truth seems to think the ex-AEW star is Asuka because both of them wear face paint. Either way, Truth didn’t exactly seem to know what he was doing and gave The Miz & Kit Wilson a WWE Tag Team Title match. Damian Priest didn’t mind the fact that the titles were on the line, but he just couldn’t understand why their first title defense was against The Miz & Kit Wilson of all people.

So during the tag team title match, Danhausen ended up coming out while Kit Wilson was out at ringside, and he tried to get The Miz to tag him. The Miz insulted him, and R-Truth “tagged” him instead. The referee told him that he couldn’t be there, and so did The Miz. He was going to curse The Miz, but the referee was placed in front by the legend and was effectively cursed. So when The Miz hit the skull-crushing finale for a guaranteed title victory, the referee suffered a cramp of sorts in his hand and was unable to make the three-count. Right after this, Damian Priest was tagged in and ended up hitting the chokeslam to retain the titles.

It was an insane sequence of events that ended with the titles being retained despite the fact that they should have changed. Also, The Miz tried hitting Danhausen with a skull-crushing finale, but he escaped after the entire arena went dark.
