Terrance and Sophia’s story began in their home state of Colorado during their teenage years. While Ferguson was a standout at Heritage High School in Littleton, Sophia attended and played varsity basketball for Regis Jesuit High School.
After staying together throughout Ferguson’s collegiate career, Terrance proposed in July 2024. The couple tied the knot over the weekend of July 12–13, 2025.
Rams TE Terrance Ferguson eyeing a breakout year
Los Angeles Rams tight end Terrance Ferguson is expected to make a major leap in his second NFL season. He recorded 11 catches for 231 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie season. But some analysts believe the former second-round pick has the potential to become a key weapon in Sean McVay’s offense.
He could emerge as Matthew Stafford’s third-most reliable receiving option behind star wideouts Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. The opportunity is certainly there. Behind Nacua and Adams, the Rams lack an established No. 3 pass catcher.
Last season, production at that spot was spread among Ferguson, Tyler Higbee, Colby Parkinson, and Davis Allen, with the group combining for 101 receptions, 1,128 yards, and 17 touchdowns.
While rookie tight end Max Klare could compete for snaps after being selected in the second round, Ferguson’s receiving ability and fit within the offense make him a strong candidate for a larger role. The sophomore TE has the opportunity to become the Rams’ top tight end in 2026.
