WWE star finally has an update after arrest
Thanks for the submission!
Ludwig Kaiser, aka El Grande Americano, was arrested on charges of battery back in April. He is now set to appear at a pre-trial hearing in the criminal case against him before the Orange County Court as a result of the arrest. The date is set for July 16 at 9 AM, per the Orange County Court records.
Kaiser has pleaded not guilty to the charges. An arrest affidavit was issued in his name, and it stated that the Orlando police responded to an apartment complex on April 23, where a man named Richard Reap had complained against him. The issue was said to take place when he entered the elevator with Kaiser and a woman, who was later revealed to be his real-life partner.
They were apparently acting very “intimate” with each other, which led Reap to exit the elevator on the 12th floor and tell them to have manners. As per the affidavit, what followed was Kaiser punching him repeatedly and pushing him to the ground. Reap had injuries in line with his version of events, and the video footage also showed a white male punching and pushing Reap.
After learning about the warrant, Kaiser cooperated with the police, and his lawyers secured permission for him to travel, allowing him to face Chad Gable in the upcoming Mask vs. Mask match. He has been told to have no contact with the victim or any witnesses. His lawyers have also filed to secure video footage. WWE is yet to make a statement on the situation.
