Afghanistan mystery spinner Allah Ghazanfar celebrated his first-ball wicket with the viral and trendy ‘Scuba Dance’ in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026 match between Barbados Tridents (BT) and the Jamaica Kingsmen (JKM). The youngster castled Kirk McKenzie after coming into the attack in the third over of the match at Kensington Oval.
BT persisted with spin from one end after Chris Green opened the attack with the new ball in the CPL 2026 contest, before bringing in Allah Ghazanfar. The Afghan spinner struck immediately on the first ball of his spell, handing his side their first breakthrough of the match.
Allah Ghazanfar began his spell with a short-pitched delivery that skidded off the surface while turning a touch away from the left-handed batter. Kirk McKenzie tried to rock back onto the back foot and slam it towards midwicket, but found no contact.

The young mystery spinner is struggling to find a place in the national team after being snubbed for the T20 World Cup 2026 and the upcoming three-match T20I series against India. With experienced, proven names like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, and Noor Ahmad forming the majority of the spin department, Ghazanfar has had to be patient on the sidelines.
The 20-year-old has had a fairly successful year in T20s so far, picking 25 wickets in 21 matches at an average of 25.88 and an economy rate of 8.70.
