Danhausen has been one of WWE’s breakout superstars since debuting in the Stamford-based promotion. The Monday Night RAW Superstar was involved in a feud with The Miz and Kit Wilson before he kicked off a brand new rivalry with The Judgment Day.
It all started in February with a backstage encounter between Danhausen and The Judgment Day, where Dominik Mysterio mocked him, saying he would never be a champion. As a result, the Very Nice, Very Evil star cursed “Dirty” Dom, which ultimately led to him losing his Intercontinental Championship to Penta.

Another encounter came in March, when Danhausen stole $100,000 in “human monies” from Dominik Mysterio, and he still cursed the crew and refused to return the money, which prompted The Judgment Day to ambush Danhausen’s lab and destroy it and a custom New York Knicks jersey.
This led to a No Disqualification match between Danhausen and JD McDonagh being booked at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLV at Madison Square Garden. Mr. Very Nice, Very Evil extended his undefeated WWE streak by beating McDonagh, as he brought NBA Player Karl-Anthony Towns out from his Cloning Machine after Dominik Mysterio interfered. He also had his Minihausens backing him up.
The war between Danhausen and The Judgment Day is far from over. In a segment on the post-SNME edition of RAW on July 20, Mr. Very Nice, Very Evil offered to return the money to The Judgment Day, but he double-crossed the group, which led to the faction attacking him. Joe Hendry rushed in to help the babyface, setting up his match with Dirty Dom later on the show.
During the Mysterio vs. Hendry’s match, Liv Morgan tried to help her boyfriend, but it didn’t work as Danhausen came out to curse The Miracle Kid. Morgan took Danhausen out, but he returned with backup – Liv’s SummerSlam opponent, IYO SKY, who took her out.
This distracted Mysterio, and taking advantage of this, Danhausen connected his finisher on Dominik behind the referee’s back, allowing Joe Hendry to pin “Dirty” Dom. The chaos led to the company booking a singles match between Mysterio and Danhausen for SummerSlam.

#3. The Judgment Day breakup is loading
The Judgment Day faction has been hanging by a thread, and there have been times over the past few years when WWE has teased the stable breaking up.
While the group never fully broke up, some major members were kicked out, from Edge, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest, to the most recent, Finn Balor.
But with Danhausen cursing the entire faction, this might be a hint from the Stamford-based promotion that this may be the final nail in the coffin for the group, and they all could part ways, with WWE most likely ending The Judgment Day at SummerSlam.
#2. To end Danhausen’s undefeated WWE streak
Danhausen has been a top rising prospect for World Wrestling Entertainment, and he is also driving massive business for the company.
As a result, he has been placed up high and is booked for weekly shows. Interestingly, despite having a comic character and being booked in hilarious segments, Triple H and his creative team have given him boasting rights with an undefeated WWE record. As of now, he is 15-0 and could make it 16-0 at SummerSlam if he beatsDominik Mysterio.
However, WWE could book the Very Evil, Very Nice star to lose clean to “Dirty” Dom, which would revive Mysterio’s momentum and help him regain his lost aura.
#1. No big plans for Dominik Mysterio
Coming out of WrestleMania 41, Dominik Mysterio looked like a future main-eventer, holding two titles at the same time and, given that he also beat John Cena at WWE Survivor Series 2025, becoming a top star looked guaranteed.
However, plans for Mysterio took a massive dip this as he is barely used in singles competition and is always involved in Judgment Day shenanigans, which could give the impression that the faction is holding him back.
WWE may have clocked fans’ reactions to Dominik’s sudden downfall and the fact that it seems to have no plans for him. The company may have decided to book him in a match against Danhausen at SummerSlam and make him relevant again as a singles competitor.
