Honkai Star Rail: Rin Tohsaka Eidolons, ranked

Getting some Rin Tohsaka Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail will boost the 5-star’s fighting prowess. Although she is a collaboration character, she possesses six Eidolons like other units from this gacha title. After getting these power-ups, you have to activate them to enhance her abilities’ damage. However, you’ll have to pull multiple copies of the 5-star, which can cost an absurd amount of Star Rail Special Passes.

In this article, we will be ranking every Rin Tohsaka Eidolon (except her E3 and E5) from worst to best based on each one’s value in Honkai Star Rail.

Rin Tohsaka Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail ranked from worst to best

4) “Red Devil: Triple Speed” (E4)

Rin Tohsaka’s fourth Eidolon in Honkai Star Rail, “Red Devil: Triple Speed,” is the weakest among all, and it is not worth the Stellar Jades you spend to obtain the power-up. Hence, we recommend skipping it unless you are getting all six. As you can see, “Red Devil: Triple Speed,” just boosts Rin Tohsaka’s CRIT DMG from her passive talent by a substantial margin.

Although the CRIT DMG buff can be stacked twice, boosting Rin’s damage by a decent amount, it’s still not worth considering the pulls you have to spend for it.

3) “Dimensional Traveler” (E2)

While “Dimensional Traveler” seems like a good E2 for Rin Tohsaka, it’s not (if you are using a dual DPS composition). The Eidolon grants her a measly 30% Skill damage boost, while also increasing all allies’ Skill damage by a substantial margin (130%). Since you’ll be pairing Rin with Archer, the latter frequently triggers his ultimate alongside the follow-up attack. Hence, “Dimensional Traveler” might not be the best investment.

In hypercarry compositions, you’re better off not pulling this Eidolon as the self-damage buff is not worth the hassle.

2) “Nailed It This Time!” (E6)

As usual, Rin Tohsaka’s sixth Eidolon, “Nailed It This Time!,” is exceptionally strong in Honkai Star Rail. It boosts her All-Type RES PEN by 20%, which allows Rin to deal an exceptional amount of damage to the adversaries. Furthermore, when she activates her ultimate, she gains 24 Gem Energy and an extra turn.

Since Rin needs at least 15 Gem Energy to enhance her skill, this Eidolon helps her to do so immediately once she uses her ultimate. On top of that, the extra turn will let her deal more damage. If you have enough Jades saved up to get all six Eidolons, then you can get this one. However, it ranks second solely because of how expensive it is.

1) “Zelretch Apprentice” (E1)

Rin Tohsaka’s first Eidolon, “Zelretch Apprentice,” is the best Eidolon you can get in Honkai Star Rail. It works in both hypercarry and dual DPS compositions equally. Furthermore, the power-up introduces Shadow Gem, which is equivalent to Gem Energy. To get the new one, you have to spend 30 or more Gem Energy in a single instance. Once you do so, you’ll get Shadow Gems equal to the amount consumed.

When Rin triggers her enhanced skill, she will consume Shadow Gem instead, allowing you to use the said ability one more time. “Zelretch Apprentice” is exceptionally valuable, and we recommend getting it before you pull Rin Tohsaka’s signature light cone.
