If a fan were to tune into WWE RAW at 8 PM EST like normal next week, they would be left stunned, as the show will have changed in a big way, according to Michael Cole. The lead commentator announced the change on RAW, letting fans know what has changed.
Michael Cole announced the change for WWE RAW
Thanks for the submission!
Next week’s episode of WWE RAW will not be starting at 8 PM EST as usual. Michael Cole took to social media to announce that the show would instead be starting two hours early. This means that the show will start at 6 PM EST.
The reason for the change is none other than WWE needing to do a double taping. Next week’s show will not only feature RAW but also air a taped SmackDown.
This is not the only change likely to take place. Next week’s episode of SmackDown is also likely to be a taped show, for which spoilers might emerge as soon as this week. After RAW is done next week, they will tape SmackDown, so fans present may leak the results and what to expect for the coming week’s show.
This will likely have the same change again next week, with next week’s usual SmackDown slot having a RAW and SmackDown taping scheduled. Both shows for the next week will be taped as a result, with spoilers likely emerging again from fans present at the shows.
Stay tuned to Sportskeeda Wrestling for all spoilers after the tapings are done.
Meanwhile, the shows should go back to normal in September. It remains to be seen whether the company makes any further changes following Michael Cole’s announcement and the new timings. They have not made many major changes in recent months, so this is a big decision.
