“You’re hot” – Paige breaks character to ship message to WWE rival

WWE star Paige broke character today to praise her rival. The veteran returned to the company earlier this year at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, and Paige lost to Fatal Influence in a 6-woman tag team match at SummerSlam. Following the loss, The Bella Twins attacked the former AEW star and beat her down in the ring. The Fearless One took to social media today to share several photos from her summer so far, and you can check them out in her Instagram post below.

“☀️ This summer went by way too fast but it was so amazing and goodness definitely had some twists and unexpected turns. 🙏🏼,” she wrote.

The Anti-Diva broke character to comment on her rival’s post and admitted that the former champion was attractive.

“I can’t stand you.. but you’re hot,” she wrote.

Paige returned at WrestleMania to replace Nikki Bella, who had suffered an ankle injury ahead of The Show of Shows. Brie Bella and the popular star won the Women’s Tag Team Championships on The Grandest Stage of Them All, but their reign came to an end last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event when they were defeated by Fatal Influence’s Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley. Brie Bella suffered a shoulder injury during WWE SummerSlam 2026 and will be forced to miss time.

WWE star Paige hints at going after title

Paige recently hinted that she could be going after the Women’s United States Championship on WWE SmackDown.

The leader of Fatal Influence, Jacy Jayne, captured the title earlier this month on the blue brand by defeating Tiffany Stratton. The 34-year-old took to social media following this week’s episode of SmackDown and suggested that Jacy Jayne’s title would look good on her.

“That US title would look good on me..,” she wrote.

Chelsea Green became the inaugural Women’s United States Champion by winning a tournament in 2024. The Hot Mess is now the reigning WWE Women’s Champion after winning a ladder match at SummerSlam. Rhea Ripley was the champion following her victory over Jade Cargill at WrestleMania but is now on the shelf with a major knee injury.
