President Trump on Monday made an announcement on healthcare affordability.
The president was joined by HHS Secretary RFK Jr., Secretary Lutnick, Dr. Oz and others.
CNBC reported earlier Monday that President Trump is announcing new drug pricing deals with nearly a dozen drugmakers.
The drugmakers will voluntarily lower the prices of their medications.
On Monday, Trump announced 26 pharmaceutical companies agreed to offer all of their drugs to state Medicaid at favored nation drug pricing.
President Trump previously announced a deal with 17 pharmaceutical companies.
“For decades, politicians from both parties promised to make health care more affordable, but they all FAILED. Every one of them,” Trump said.
