White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles announced on Wednesday that she is now “cancer-free” after a medical appointment this week.

President Trump announced in March that Wiles had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

“Susie Wiles is an incredible Chief of Staff, a great person, and one of the strongest people I know but, unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, and has decided to take on this challenge, IMMEDIATELY, as opposed to waiting,” the President wrote on Truth Social.

“She has a fantastic medical team, and her prognosis is excellent! During the treatment period, she will be spending virtually full time at the White House, which makes me, as President, very happy!”

But now, Wiles says the cancer is gone, and she will “continue to work to advance his America First Agenda.”

Wiles wrote on X Wednesday:

Some personal news I’m grateful to share. After a medical appointment at the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results came back clear.

I am cancer free.

Thank you to my family, friends, doctors, and everyone who prayed for me, checked in, and supported me along the way.

A special thank you to President Trump for his unwavering support. I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First Agenda.

Wiles served as the Florida co-chair for Trump’s 2016 campaign and a co-campaign manager for Trump’s 2024 campaign before he selected her to be the first female Chief of Staff in history.

Previously, she managed Senator Rick Scott’s 2010 campaign for Governor of Florida and chaired Ron DeSantis’s 2018 campaign for Governor. Wiles also worked for Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential campaign.
