We have another very on-the-nose piece of GTA 6 marketing in Miami, with Rockstar putting a huge Vice City sign on the roof of the Kaseya Center. The installation ties directly into the game’s Miami-inspired setting and is part of a marketing agreement involving the city.
The sign is already hard to miss, given the coverage, but the fact that a helicopter was used to transport the sign’s components to the rooftop of Kaseya Center makes it even more obvious.

Rockstar installs GTA 6 Vice City sign at Kaseya Center
Footage captured by the social media account of @DavidVergel97 on X reveals that a helicopter transported several parts of the “Welcome to Vice City” sign to Kaseya Center’s rooftop.
The installation is part of Rockstar’s promotional push for GTA 6, with the fictional Vice City branding now sitting on one of Miami’s best-known venues.
The Kaseya Center is the waterfront home of the Miami Heat and is also described in the supplied information as a major entertainment venue in the United States. Its rooftop is designed to be visible to passengers flying into Miami International Airport, making it a particularly visible location for the campaign.

Rockstar reportedly spent nearly $1 million
According to Miami Herald journalist Doug Hanks, the deal involved Rockstar Games spending nearly a million dollars for the sign as part of a marketing agreement. Specifically, Miami-Dade County expects to collect $975,000 from Rockstar for the installation.
In other words, the sign is part of a marketing mix that extends beyond just having another prominent GTA symbol on a building in Miami. Rockstar invested in a full-blown marketing campaign that utilizes the juxtaposition of real and fictional Miami for promotion.
And for Rockstar, it is an effective mix since it leverages the recognition of the real-world locations while also promoting the fictional equivalent.
