A former WWE star made a massive return at tonight’s AEW All Out. The show features multiple blockbuster stars. One of the major stars whose return wasn’t announced but who still showed up is Samoa Joe. He is a decorated WWE veteran and has held the United States Championship two times. He hasn’t been seen in All Elite Wrestling since May 2025. However, after Jack Perry called him out a couple of times ahead of All Out, he did show up in Chicago.
The former TNT Champion wants to win the world championship. To win it, he would like to face the ones who have held it in the past. Last month, he faced Swerve Strickland and Jon Moxley. While the Jungle Boy lost both matches, he managed to put on a great fight against the former AEW World Champions. After All In, he called out the Samoan Submission Machine. However, the Opps claimed that Jack should go through Katsuyori Shibata first before reaching to the Opps leader.
At the All Out Tailgate Brawl, Jack Perry defeated Shibata in a fantastic match. After the contest, he called out Samoa Joe. The former AEW World Champion finally answered the call, and the crowd were left appalled. The Samoan Submission Machine entered the ring to confront the Jungle Boy. Fans were intrigued by their confrontation as the two stars didn’t meet on TV in previous years. When the latter asked for a handshake, Joe turned his back. After Perry stopped the former United States Champion, he headbutted Jack.
It will be interesting to see when the Samoan Submission Machine and Jungle Boy lock horns in the ring. It remains to be seen if Samoa Joe is the first former AEW World Champion Jack Perry defeats to get one step closer to the world championship.
