President Trump on Wednesday announced a major $54 billion investment in Alaska liquefied natural gas as part of a broader $350 billion investment deal with South Korea.
“We’re thrilled to announce one of the largest energy infrastructure investments in American history,” Trump said.

Trump took questions from reporters after his announcement.
A reporter pointed out that California has to rely on foreign crude oil because the state doesn’t have refineries because of destructive, far-left environmental policies.
President Trump erupted on California’s Democrats over the state’s disastrous oil policies.
“It’s so unfair what California is doing. They closed their refineries. You know, they had a lot of refineries. They were actually the third or fourth biggest oil producer in the country. Nobody thinks of California that way. They have a lot of oil in California, but they don’t use it because of the environmental lunatics,” Trump said.
“They are being charged so much. It’s so sad to see and how they keep electing these people that have no idea what they’re doing,” Trump said.
