The Dallas Cowboys acquired cornerback Joey Porter Jr. via a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. Porter Jr. was embroiled in contract negotiations with the Steelers in the offseason, and that continued through the first three weeks of the regular season.
However, after Porter’s trade to the Cowboys was complete, former NFL cornerback Asante Samuel Sr. offered his take on the situation.
Thanks for the submission!
“IDK… Joey Porter Jr. should’ve thugged it out in Pittsburgh. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Let’s see how this plays out,” Samuel tweeted on Thursday.
