Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes’ season ended last month after the Pirates failed to qualify for the postseason. The All-Star pitcher is enjoying his time off with his girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, in the Bahamas.
Skenes and Dunne travelled to the Bahamas for the former LSU gymnast’s 24th birthday this week. During their getaway, Dunne shared pictures of herself in a zebra-print bikini holding a pig.
“Baby,” she captioned her post.

She also shared a glimpse of the pigs swimming around her boat near the beach.
“Why hello there,” Dunne captioned her post.

Dunne, who retired from gymnastics last year, celebrated her 24th birthday with the Pirates ace and shared a glimpse of their celebration in an Instagram post.
She shared a carousel post with Skenes holding her beside a pool.
“Washed up at 24,” Dunne captioned her post.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, Dunne shared a carousel post of her appearances at Skenes’ games in 2026.
Pirates ace Paul Skenes acknowledged his poor 2026 season
Paul Skenes recorded his worst MLB season in 2026 with his decreased velocity being the biggest concern for the Pirates. Skenes posted a 10-11 record with a 3.82 ERA, the worst of his career.
Skenes acknowledged his poor season and vowed to address his shortcomings and get better in the offseason.
“I’m not going to sit around all offseason thinking about how bad this season was,” Skenes said. “I understand the standard that was set the last couple of years, but I think there was a lot of good and stuff to get better at. Probably some low-hanging fruit and some other stuff to address in the offseason.”
Although Skenes allowed a career-high 20 homers in 2026, he also registered 200 strikeouts for a second consecutive season. He is only the second pitcher after Bob Veale to reach the milestone in franchise history.
