Aion 2 allows you to test different attacks and skill macros on training dummies located near camps and starting bases. Referred to as Training Scarecrows, these structures spawn with infinite health, serving as an ideal tool for analyzing your damage and combo efficiency. You will find clusters of them in specific areas across Verteron and Altgard.
Your character’s faction determines the region you spawn in and the dummies you can access. This guide will further help you track down all training dummies across Verteron and Altgard in Aion 2.
Vertenon training dummy location in Aion 2
You will find a cluster of five training dummies in the Verteron region of Aion 2, tucked away in the upper-left area of the map. To reach them, teleport to the Dawn Legion Base fast-travel point in Cantas Valley and head west toward the command center. If you have trouble finding the spot, look just north of the Verteron Monolith, where you initially submit Empyrean Feathers to increase your Monolith’s Resonance level.
You will gain access to this zone immediately upon completing the tutorial missions in Verteron at around level 10. Once you arrive, you can begin attacking the Training Scarecrows right away to test out the skill macro and rotations for your Elyos character.
Altgard training dummy location in Aion 2

On the Asmodian side, four training dummies spawn outside the command center in Safe Haven. Simply teleport to the Safe Haven fast-travel point in Altgard and travel northeast until you spot the facility. You will find the dummies on the balcony next to the stairs – two on each side.
You must be level 10 to reach the area. Completing the tutorial missions will get you there.
How to use the training dummy in Aion 2
As specified, the training dummies in Aion 2 serve as a tool to practice combat. The scarecrows spawn with infinite health, allowing you to test out the rotations and movesets of your respective character class. Their health depletes for a brief window when you use an attack to show its damage and fills back up the moment you stop.
You just have to keep using different attacks until their HP drops to find the optimal rotation to use in combat. The dummies match your character level and do not retaliate no matter how many attacks you throw at them.
Do test out a Melee Training Scarecrow if you want something more reactive. They retaliate with a shockwave, allowing you to practice dodges and the damage reflection mechanics tied to specific builds.
