5 Finishes to the WWE Men’s Money within the Bank 2026 Ladder Match

WWE is set to host the 2026 edition of Money in the Bank on October 10. The field for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match has been set, and all eyes are on who secures the briefcase and gets one step closer to a world championship.

The lineup is certainly stacked. Young stars like Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Bron Breakker are there, as well as veterans like Penta, Kevin Owens, and CM Punk. With a star-studded field, it’s difficult to predict who will walk out of New Orleans as Mr. MITB this Saturday.

WWE has several exciting directions it can take with the upcoming Ladder Match. Here are five possible finishes to the Men’s Money in the Bank Match.

#5. Je’Von Evans shocks the world

Je’Von Evans might be a dark horse heading into Money in the Bank. He has the athleticism and skills to thrive in the environment of a Ladder Match, and he could shock the world by becoming Mr. MITB this weekend.

The Young OG has been at odds with The Vision lately. During the Ladder Match, the heel faction could come out to help Bron Breakker win. Oba Femi could then come out to even the odds and remove The Vision from the equation. Femi also has a match at the PLE against Bronson Reed, and if that match ends controversially, The Ruler’s issues with the heel group are likely to continue and could affect the Ladder Match.

After the chaotic scene, Je’Von could be the man standing in the ring, and he could climb the ladder and retrieve the briefcase to win the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

#4. Penta prevails

Penta has already established himself as a credible main-event-level star this year. He challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship on September 14 and pushed the OTC through his limit before ultimately coming up short. He then replaced Solo Sikoa in the Money in the Bank qualifier and defeated Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee to earn his spot.

The luchador is reportedly among the favorites to win the briefcase, and WWE could capitalize on the recent momentum he has built. Giving Penta the Money in the Bank contract would immediately put him back into the world-title picture and give him a clear path toward another shot at the top championship.

#3. CM Punk becomes a three-time Mr. MITB

CM Punk could make history by winning the briefcase for a third time. The Best in the World already won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXIV in 2008 and repeated the feat one year later at WrestleMania 25. Both victories eventually led to World Heavyweight Championship reigns.

Punk is the most experienced man in the lineup, and it could be proven useful for him winning the briefcase for the third time. The Second City Saint could strategically wait for the right time and grab the briefcase to win the match.

#2. Kevin Owens wins after Sami Zayn interferes

Kevin Owens has been around the Undisputed WWE Championship picture since his return, but he has yet to get his hands on the title. The Prizefighter finally qualified for Money in the Bank on October 2, defeating Cody Rhodes and Johnny Gargano after Randy Orton prevented The American Nightmare from breaking up the winning pin.

During the Ladder Match this Saturday, Sami Zayn might try to stop both Owens and Punk from winning, knowing either man could immediately become a threat to his title.

Punk could fight off Zayn, allowing Owens to capitalize on the distraction and climb the ladder. It would give The Prizefighter a major win while keeping his issues with the Undisputed WWE Champion alive.

#1. Bron Breakker wins the Money in the Bank briefcase

Bron Breakker could use Money in the Bank to rebuild the momentum he has lost during his recent run with The Vision. The Unpredictable Bad*ss was the first star to qualify for this year’s match, defeating Rey Mysterio and Ethan Page on the September 7 episode of RAW.

Breakker’s singles momentum has taken a hit lately. Winning the briefcase would immediately give him a major accomplishment and put him back in a prominent singles position.

It would also give WWE plenty of options for his eventual cash-in. Breakker could wait for the right opportunity or announce his intentions ahead of time, but either way, becoming Mr. MITB would quickly restore his position as one of the company’s biggest young stars.
