President Trump on Thursday responded to a Clinton Judge’s denial of a lawsuit by the Department of Justice to remove 20,000 illegal votes from noncitizens from the final count in California’s election and confirmed that they will appeal.

DOJ filed the lawsuit seeking to set aside and potentially throw out 20,000 ballots that were sent to illegal voters after announcing that “more than 20,000 people who are likely aliens are registered to vote in California” and were sent mail-in ballots.

“Once illegally cast ballots are counted and commingled with lawful votes, the resulting harm may be impossible to remedy. The urgency is heightened because of the fundamental right to vote and to have one’s lawful vote counted without dilution,” the DOJ said in its request for a Temporary Restraining Order

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the case was initially assigned to a Trump appointee but then reassigned to Clinton-appointed federal judge David Carter last week. Carter ignored a deadline proposed by the DOJ, prompting the Trump administration to ask The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to intervene.

The appeals court, however, denied the appeal and sent the case back to the District Court, but Carter ultimately denied the lawsuit.

The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson asked Trump about the lawsuit and whether he thinks the Democrats are trying to steal Steve Hilton’s election on Thursday.

“Of course, they are. California is very corrupt. The elections are extremely corrupt,” Trump said.

“The Judge should not have done that, but we will appeal that, of course. We found 20,000 ballots, but there are hundreds of thousands of bad ballots, bad votes in California — millions in my opinion, millions.”

“It’s a corrupt state and very, very corrupt elections. If California were honest, if they had honest vote count, I would have won by a lot,” he added.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Wednesday, Clinton-appointed Judge David Carter tossed the DOJ’s lawsuit.

“Eroded trust in our democracy is irreparable. Once a vote is segregated, lasting harm has occurred. If the Executive can discount votes and threaten an ongoing election due to unproven allegations, then our democracy is in danger,” the judge wrote in a 26-page order.

“There is a clear remedy available. The United States can prosecute individuals according to Section 611, as it has historically and recently done. California also has established procedures to cancel the voter registrations of any individuals proven ineligible.”

So, counting an illegal ballot doesn’t create lasting harm to the electoral process or endanger so-called democracy, but preventing fraud and refusing to count fraudulent votes does, according to the judge.
