“U need to get some help” “just tweeting for attention”: NFL followers blast ex-LSU champ for daring declare about Jalen Hurts, Bryce Young & Alabama QBs

Breiden Fehoko isn’t a fan of Alabama quarterbacks. The former LSU nose tackle made a bold claim on X about Crimson Tide QBs and doubled down shortly after.

“Alabama quarterbacks struggle at the next level solely on the fact that they’ve never really had to go through progressions and be real QBs at Bama. They all have been surrounded by speed demons and talent gaps. A lot of one look offense. This is why they struggle in the league,” wrote the one-time collegiate national champion.

He quoted his previous post with examples.

“Bryce Young, Tua Tagovailoa, Mac Jones, Jalen Hurts, Ty Simpson and Jalen Milroe,” wrote Fehoko.

NFL fans weren’t having it.

A fan said, “Jalen Hurts? The super bowl champ? Son. U need to get some help.”

Another added, “Tua went through progressions his whole time at Bama. T** Yall talking about? Especially in the championship game where he was rarely throwing to his first read.”

One wrote, “Just talking now … Simpson hasn’t even taken a snap yet. The top 4 all took their teams to the playoffs, Jalen Super Bowl 2x.”

Another said, “He’s a moron just tweeting for attention.”

One chipped in, saying, “Ty hasn’t even played a snap in the NFL.”

Another wrote, “Jalen Hurts is a Super Bowl MVP who easily outplayed Mahomes (considered the best of this generation) in the Super Bowl – twice.”

Breiden Fehoko had a decent collegiate football career. He spent two seasons at Texas Tech and three at LSU. He was part of the Tigers’ 2020 National Championship.

Fehoko went undrafted in 2020 and played for the Los Angeles Chargers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He announced his retirement on November 21, 2025. These days, he’s more popular for his analysis and social media presence.

How are Jalen Hurts, Bryce Young, and other Alabama quarterbacks doing?

The Alabama Crimson Tide are one of the most successful collegiate football programs in history. They were particularly dominant under Hall of Fame coach Nick Saban.

Several Alabama Crimson Tide quarterbacks are on NFL rosters today. Jalen Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa, Bryce Young, Mac Jones, Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson are all on active rosters entering Week 8.

Jalen Hurts is a one-time Super Bowl champion, perennial Pro Bowler and the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s currently out indefinitely because of blood clots.

Bryce Young is the starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers. He is on a Pro Bowl trajectory, showcasing the skills that earned him the first-round pick in the 2023 draft.

Tua Tagovailoa is a priority backup with the Atlanta Falcons after six solid but unspectacular seasons with the Miami Dolphins. Jalen Milroe and Mac Jones are both veteran backups ready to step up when needed.

Ty Simpson is behind reigning MVP Matthew Stafford on the Los Angeles Rams depth chart. He’s widely considered the team’s long-term replacement for the future Hall of Famer.
