A female WWE champion recently recalled almost butting heads with CM Punk. The Second City Saint rarely backs down from a challenge, but he may have bitten off more than he could chew with this one.

Raquel Rodriguez recently appeared on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, where she was asked about a confrontation with CM Punk during a dark match. Following the March 24, 2025, episode of RAW, Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Rey Mysterio faced The Judgment Day in a six-man tag team match.

During Rhodes’ entrance, Punk tried to go after Rodriguez at ringside. Instead of backing down, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion charged towards The Second City Saint. Punk quickly ran to the other side, wanting none of Big Mami Cool. The American Nightmare then stepped in and held Punk back to avoid escalating the confrontation.

The Judgment Day member recalled this playful exchange during the conversation with Van Vliet. Rodriguez also mentioned capturing a video of Punk on her Meta Glasses and added that she appreciated being able to share moments with stars like Punk and Rhodes.

“That’s right. That’s right. He doesn’t want any of Big S*xy. I tried to warn him way before that, but I think I caught that on my Metas. I think that video was from my Meta glasses, and it was just a fun mixed tag that we were having out there, and getting to work with people and be out there, like with CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, that’s knowledge that you can’t get anywhere else. So, even just having those interactions and those moments, it’s like, yeah, this is why I do what I get to do, and I love it.” [H/T: Chris Van Vliet]

Raquel Rodriguez is currently at odds with IYO SKY, who recently pinned the Women’s Intercontinental Champion in a singles match.

CM Punk has a busy week

CM Punk has two major matches lined up for this week. First, he will go to NXT and challenge Grayson Waller for the NXT Title on Wednesday. Then on SmackDown, he is set to settle his issues with Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred Match.

It will be interesting to see how The Second City Saint fares in both bouts.
