Authorities at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport seized a big cargo final week of lots of of syringes of what they are saying is a “dangerous” and unapproved vaginal tightening gel.

In line with a press launch from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), on November 20, brokers inspected a cargo arriving from Hong Kong manifested as “Vaginal Tightening Gel” that was sure for a Woodbury residence. 

Agents say the shipment was discovered to comprise business portions of a gel inside injectables and required the person to put on “chemical resistant gloves” when dealing with them. The packages containing the beauty gel have been present in pink packaging and gave the impression to be prepared for resale, in accordance with brokers.

Officers say had the syringes been bought, the full home worth would have been over $19,000.

“This dangerous shipment is another example of someone using unregulated gels to prey on unknowing consumers with false promises,” stated LaFonda D. Sutton-Burke, Director, Area Operations-Chicago Area Workplace. “Not knowing what you are inserting in your body can be deadly, and consumers believe they are getting a discount, when in fact they are purchasing an inferior product with unapproved ingredients.”
