Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow reflects on Andrei Iosivas’ absence due to thumb injury

Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas is expected to miss four games due to his thumb injury. He was placed on the injured reserve last month after undergoing ligament surgery.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow said that Iosivas’ injury will be a big miss for the team.

“(Replacing Iosivas) will be by committee,” Burrow said. “Andrei did a lot for us. In the run game, he was dependable and a really good third receiver. You can’t just replace him with one guy. It’ll be by committee for sure.”

Iosivas posted three receptions for 19 yards in his two games this season before the thumb injury.
