Arshdeep Singh shoots romantic reel with girlfriend on New Zealand streets amid NZ vs IND 2026 collection [Watch]

A romantic Instagram reel featuring Arshdeep Singh and girlfriend Samreen Kaur, the actor and model, has been widely shared by fans amid India’s five-match T20I series in New Zealand.

The Men in Blue have already secured the series, leading 3-0 after chasing 199 in 13.2 overs to beat New Zealand by six wickets in Wellington on Tuesday.

The video, uploaded to Instagram earlier today, was filmed on the streets of New Zealand, where the left-arm pacer is touring with the squad.

Sporting his trademark maroon turban, a classic black t-shirt, sunglasses, and relaxed, wide-leg denim jeans, Arshdeep initially stands, arms crossed, before a modern urban facade. The lighthearted atmosphere shifts into a romantic vignette as a young woman, dressed in a black cropped puffer jacket, dark leggings, and winter boots, walks past.

With a smooth motion, Arshdeep reaches out to catch her hand, drawing her back into a close, affectionate embrace. The two share a warm, smiling moment face-to-face against a backdrop of urban traffic, parked scooters, and passing vehicles.

The reel is the couple’s latest post since Arshdeep made the relationship official on July 26 with two photographs and the caption “My person”, ending months of speculation from IPL 2026. Both post regularly to Instagram, which is how most of what fans know about the relationship has reached them.

The reel landed after Arshdeep told host broadcaster Sony Sports Network ahead of the third T20I:

“Reel-veelan ka daur gaya paaji, ab serious Arshdeep ban chuka hai.”

Translated from Punjabi, it means the era of making reels is over, and a serious Arshdeep has arrived. The line drew laughter from the broadcast panel and traveled quickly online, which is part of why the new clip has been passed around so eagerly.

Kaur has followed this tour closely. When Arshdeep became the seventh Indian to play 100 T20Is in the opener at Hagley Oval on October 22, she wrote on her Instagram Stories:

“100 T20 matches today and the most beautiful thing about this milestone for me is knowing how much of your life you’ve devoted to becoming the man who gets to live it and how much of you the world is yet to see. Many many more to come baby.”

How has Arshdeep Singh performed so far in the New Zealand T20I series

Arshdeep has picked up four wickets from three matches, and the spells have followed a pattern: an early strike with the new ball, then work at the death.

In Christchurch he took 1/45, removing Daryl Mitchell for 28. In the second match he finished with 2/33, dismissing Tim Seifert for seven in the second over and Glenn Phillips for 70 in the 18th. In Wellington, he again removed Seifert early, this time for two, caught by Axar Patel at backward point, and finished with 1/33 from four overs as New Zealand made 198/3.

The wicket in Wellington took his 2026 tally to 39 in 30 T20Is, the joint-most by a bowler from a Full Member nation in a calendar year, level with Joshua Little’s 39 in 2022.

Arshdeep has 149 wickets in 102 T20Is to his name, India’s leading wicket-taker in the format and one short of 150. Among fast bowlers, only Tim Southee and Mustafizur Rahman are ahead.
