A new clip has emerged showing the insane transformation Roman Reigns had to go through to play his role in the new live action Street Fighter movie.

Reigns has earned his spot as one of the top stars in the Stamford-based promotion, becoming a needle mover in the business. Apart from his career in the pro wrestling industry, he has also appeared in movies, the most recent being the new Street Fighter live action movie. In that movie, he plays the role of the Akuma, the primary antagonist of the franchise.

In a recent video posted by WWE on Instagram, Roman Reigns can be seen going through the process of transforming into Akuma. His chest tattoo is covered, and his hair is modified to get him to look the part. The caption stated:

“@romanreigns was born to play Akuma in Street Fighter!🔥”

Roman Reigns recently spoke about his career outside of WWE

According to Roman Reigns, a career in the performing arts is something that he is quite interested in.

Speaking in an interview with extratv, the WWE star explained that he was grateful for his pro wrestling career, but it was admittedly a difficult job.

“I would love to. I mean, I’m a husband and father first, that’s always going to be my priority. WWE has been great to me; when I really needed a team to pick me up, they were the team that picked me up when I was down when I was a lot younger. But you can’t fall down your whole life, you know what I mean? Wrestling is a rough, rough way of earning a living, and I want to continue to explore these performing arts, these tools that I’ve sharpened and learned over the years. And if I can contribute and collaborate and then be a part of the creative process, I’d love to.”

Hot off the heels of a succesful title defense at WWE Money in the Bank against LA Knight, Reigns is currently looking forward to his next challenge in the company.
