As per a recent report, people at the Stamford-based company were surprised to see their Boss name drop the rival company and it’s owner on social media. The former WWE Champion responded to the report with a heartwarming message.
Benjamin Satterley, better known to wrestling fans as PAC or Neville passed away last Sunday. He had wrestled his last match less than 24 hours ago at AEW All Out where he challenged Andrade for the National Championship. His tragic passing left the entire wrestling world in shock. Stars across different promotions started sharing their tributes and condolences over the past week.

The Rock joined this list of stars by sharing an Instagram reel where he talked about the legacy of PAC and sent his condolences to his family. To everyone’s shock, Dwayne name-dropped Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling during his tribute. In a recent report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that the people backstage in WWE were shocked by how the Rock explicitly named their competitor company.
The People’s Champion reacted to this report by commenting on Clutch Wrestling’s Instagram post covering it. He wrote:
“you’re right brother, and humanity matters to me. I was born into this business and I’ve seen it all, but when one of our own passes away, I don’t care nor do I see “our competition”, I care about the wrestlers and how it affects them. I’ve been there. To me, humanity matters most.”

A lot of talent in WWE shared their condolences and tributes to the B*stard following his tragic passing. The 40-year-old star had spent nearly six years in WWE as Neville and is fondly remembered by fans for his run as the King of Cruiserweights. The Final Boss also shared a heartfelt tribute to the Death Riders member.
“Hurts my heart, and sending my condolences, love, light and mana to the Satterley family. Despite pro wrestling being globally popular, it’s energy is still that of very unique subculture and breed of passionate performers who support each other because we all know the daily hardships and the nightly pressures of chasing squared circle dreams. Stay strong, Satterley family. And “thank you for the house,” he wrote.
