Congratulations are in store for WWE Superstar Rusev and his wife Lana. Earlier today, the couple announced that they are pregnant.

Lana took to Instagram to share a video of the announcement. She had invited Rusev to come and sit at their dining table and handed him a package. The Bulgarian Brute opened the package and found three pregnancy test kits, all three reading positive. The couple is expecting their first child on April 28, 2027.

“We are pregnant! It’s been such a journey 🥹 We are so so grateful @tobemiro 🙏❤️,” Lana wrote.

The couple has been transparent about their journey to get pregnant. They have faced a few challenges and finally decided to undergo IVF treatment. In December 2025, Lana first revealed during an interview on the Daria and Toni Unwrapped podcast that the couple was undergoing IVF treatment.

During a recent interview with ‘The PEOPLE,’ Lana had first revealed that she was pregnant. During the interview, the WWE Superstar shared that she and her husband began IVF treatment in 2025. The couple had two pregnancy tests, one on August 19th and the other on the 21st of August. Lana shared that those two days were the longest of her life.

“We started IVF in 2025, and on August 10, 2026, we had our embryo transfer. We were so nervous. We had to wait nine days for our first pregnancy test on August 19, followed by another on August 21 to confirm the pregnancy. Those days felt like the longest of our lives! There was a lot of surrendering, letting go and trusting God through the uncertainty,” Lana said.

The couple are expecting a baby boy and has decided to name him Bear Petrov Barnyashev.
