$4 million will reportedly be spent boosting patriot media across the continent.
We have been reporting here on TGP about how the US State Department has begun working diligently to help Europeans free themselves from the yoke of their Leftist-Globalist elites.
The $4 million to bolster European right-wing media is reportedly part of a package of at least $25 million for civil society groups working on conservative causes in the region.
What these sons of George Soros do not seem to understand is that this is a core Trump policy: ‘Cultivating resistance to Europe’s current trajectory within European nations.’
2025 US National Security Strategy:
“American diplomacy should continue to stand up for genuine democracy, freedom of expression, and unapologetic celebrations of European nations’ individual character and history. America encourages its political allies in Europe to promote this revival of spirit, and the growing influence of patriotic European parties indeed gives cause for great optimism.
Our goal should be to help Europe correct its current trajectory. We will need a strong Europe to help us successfully compete, and to work in concert with us to prevent any adversary from dominating Europe.
America is, understandably, sentimentally attached to the European continent — and, of course, to Britain and Ireland. The character of these countries is also strategically important because we count upon creative, capable, confident, democratic allies to establish conditions of stability and security. We want to work with aligned countries that want to restore their former greatness.”

Since Thursday (10), news has arisen that the US State Department is excluding French applicants from the grant program after Paris whined against ‘interference’ in next year’s French presidential election.

Politico reported:
“The program aims to advance the U.S. administration’s political agenda in Europe and fight what it describes as democratic backsliding, including ‘overbroad and vague hate-speech laws.’ A spokesperson for the U.S. embassy in Paris confirmed French groups wouldn’t receive funding, as first reported by Reuters.
The grant program was formally advertised in the summer after U.S. State Department officials held talks with MAGA-aligned think tanks and advocacy groups about funding opportunities earlier this year. That led French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot to warn against what he described as potential ‘foreign interference in [European] electoral processes’.”

“A spokesperson for the State Department said the program “does not and will not fund political parties, in Europe or elsewhere” and added that the allocation of grants ‘was still in active deliberation’.
The U.S. administration, most prominently Vice President JD Vance, has repeatedly framed the EU’s hate speech laws and election safety measures as attempts to curtail free speech and civil rights.
The spokesperson for the State Department said the strategy objectives included “collaborating with European partners to jointly support European revitalization and civilizational self-confidence.”
