Following this victory, Darby has become the first person in AEW history to hold the triple crown of the world title, TNT Championship, and tag team titles.
This was an outcome that had been planned for some time, with reports confirming that a world title reign for Darby Allin has been heavily discussed internally for a couple of years now.
