Former NFL participant Sergio Brown is pleading not guilty to murdering his mom and hiding her physique.

He entered the plea on Wednesday and is anticipated again in courtroom subsequent month, based on the Cook dinner County (Illinois) State’s Lawyer’s Workplace.

His mother, Myrtle, was found dead in a creek close to her dwelling in Maywood, Illinois in September. She was 73.

Brown, 35, was initially reported as lacking, however he was found to be alive and in Mexico. There, he posted movies on social media claiming that the FBI killed his mom and kidnapped him, and that her demise was “fake news.” 

Prosecutors stated Brown was utilizing his mom’s bank card in Mexico within the days after her demise, ABC 7 Chicago reported.

He was introduced again to the States and arrested in October.

He’s being held in jail with out bail. He faces expenses of first-degree homicide and concealing a physique.

Brown spent six seasons between the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, and Buffalo Payments as a security. He has not appeared in a sport since 2016. Undrafted out of Notre Dame, Brown performed in 94 video games, recording one INT, 4 fumble recoveries, 2.5 sacks, and 144 tackles.
