An ex-WWE star who has a rich history with Chelsea Green has shared a heartwarming message for the star.
At SummerSlam 2026, Chelsea Green reached the promised land by becoming the interim WWE Women’s Champion. She defeated Charlotte Flair, Lash Legend, Jade Cargill, and Tiffany Stratton in a high-profile ladder match to achieve the feat. Her achievement drew an uproar from the live crowd and positive reactions from her contemporaries online, including former WWE star and her ex-tag team partner, Deonna Purrazzo.
For those not in the know, Purrazzo who now works for AEW, was once in a popular tag team with Green in TNA, called VFX. Together, they became Knockouts Tag Team champions in 2022, and today is the four-year anniversary of the feat. Celebrating the same, the Virtuosa took to X and reshared their winning moment, stating that VFX is forever.

Ex-WWE star Deonna Purrazzo on training with firearms
Deonna Purrazzo recently shared an incident on social media that led her to train with firearms for security reasons. The incident involved Purrazzo’s stalker, who was under the delusion of being in a relationship with the Virtuosa coming to WrestleCon to be with her.
“Last August, a man drove 2 hrs from CT to meet me at WrestleCon, thinking we were in a relationship. I had let him down gently that he had been catfished. The next day, he drove back to CT to watch me wrestle at a local show. I called the Orlando Police to file a report when I got home bc I wanted it documented this man already traveled across state lines TWICE to see me. They told me since the incident didn’t happen in FL, they couldn’t file a report. This is why I train with firearms. This is why I carry pepper spray. This is why I have an alarm on my keychain,” she wrote on X.
Deonna Purrazzo is currently out with an injury, and it will be interesting to see when we will see her back in an AEW ring.
