Leftist influencer Hasan Piker forgot the internet is forever when he told viewers he does not hate America — as footage of him saying exactly that was easily found.
Piker has been consistently in the spotlight as a close ally of Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed. The 35-year-old streamer has made a fool of himself in the past, but is now trying to soften his image in the hopes that his conduct will not undo El-Sayed’s campaign.
One instance of that effort was posted to social media platform X where Piker, in one clip, told his audience, “It’s laughable to say guys like myself, guys like Abdul El-Sayed, we hate America.”
The footage then cuts to a separate clip of Piker saying those exact words.
“I say I hate America all the time. A lot of motherf***ers want to kill me over that take, but at least I say it with my f***ing chest.”

We are just two weeks away from the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Piker declared during a 2019 livestream that America “deserved 9/11″ — and has since been disavowed by El-Sayed for those comments.
“Of course it was a dumb statement and of course I think Hasan himself would say that was a dumb statement,” El-Sayed said. “He disavowed it,” noting that Piker has since walked his words back, according to Politico.
Ultimately, what are his actual views?
He seems to be an incoherent lunatic who checks every typical leftist box.
He is an activist who was gifted a career working for his uncle, Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks.
Despite being a millionaire, he denounces capitalism and praises socialism.
His streams are a nonsensical lowlight where he never learns from his past, making one radical, unhinged remark after the next.
This is who the Democratic Party has as a spokesman in 2026.
Does Piker hate America? What reason has he given us to doubt that he does?
His work consists of being an enraged agitator who denounces “the system” in whatever self-styled fashion he chooses on a given day.
He cannot even account for his past comments about hating this country when trying to misdirect the public in an effort to appear “moderate.”
