Japan Airways Aircraft on Fireplace at Tokyo Airport

A Japan Airways aircraft burst into flames after colliding with a Japan Coast Guard plane whereas touchdown at Haneda Airport in Tokyo on Tuesday night.

5 of the six crew members of the fixed-wing Coast Guard aircraft have been confirmed lifeless, the general public broadcaster, NHK, reported. Japan Airways stated that each one 367 passengers and 12 crew members on its aircraft had been safely evacuated, in accordance with NHK.

The Coast Guard aircraft, an MA722, was on a mission to move provides to a base in Niigata Prefecture to assist areas affected by the powerful earthquake that struck western Japan on Monday, in accordance with Naoko Kobayashi of the Japan Coast Guard.

Footage aired by NHK confirmed the Japan Airways aircraft on hearth because it streaked throughout a runway. The broadcaster reported that the aircraft, Flight 516, had departed New Chitose Airport within the northern prefecture of Hokkaido and was scheduled to land at Haneda at 5:40 p.m.
