The Detroit Lions gained their first playoff recreation because the 1991 season on Sunday evening after they narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 24-23.

In a hard-fought recreation, Jared Goff and the Lions gave followers one thing to recollect. Goff was 22-of-27 with 277 passing yards and a landing move within the win. Lions working backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs every ran for touchdowns.

Kyren Williams added 61 yards on the bottom. Huge receiver Tutu Atwell had one catch for 38 yards – it was a landing.
The final time the Lions gained a playoff recreation was on Jan. 5, 1992. The Lions topped the Dallas Cowboys 38-6. Erik Kramer had three landing passes and Barry Sanders ran for another.

The Lions will get at the least another residence playoff recreation as they transfer to the divisional round. They are going to play the winner between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
