Clay Travis has been a vocal critic of transgender athletes competing in women’s sports and returned to the topic on Thursday. During a discussion, Travis brought up French transgender player Julie Tetart, joking that she could end the Michael Jordan-LeBron James GOAT debate.
The OutKick founder offered his damning take on Tetart during an appearance on Dan Dakich’s show.
“That b*tch can ball, Dan. That b*tch can ball. I watched the highlights. This is a bad b*tch, man,” Travis said. “Not only did she average 20 points and 20 rebounds, we’re talking about a 20-20 player. If the WNBA is inclusive, then this French All-Star has to be signed by a WNBA team.
“This is why I said I’d put in a franchise application. Dan, the Nashville Balls, my WNBA team, would be the greatest dynasty of all time. Most inclusive, too. We’re only signing men who identify as women.”
Travis continued to take shots at Tetart and the WNBA’s inclusive policy, joking that the French star would overtake Jordan and Bron in the GOAT debate if she suited up for his fictitious team.
“You ain’t seen nothing until you’ve seen what the Nashville Balls will do in the WNBA,” Travis continued. “We’re just going to put trans center court, literally, and we’re going to have the greatest dynasty in the history of sports.
“People won’t be debating Michael Jordan and LeBron James anymore. They’ll be debating that bad Julie Tetart from the Nashville Balls versus Jordan. Move over, LeBron. We’ve got a new GOAT debate.”
The journalist’s remarks came as the debate surrounding transgender athletes in women’s sports continues, with WNBA players split over their participation in the league.
However, with Tetart dominating for the Monaco BA in France’s Ligue Feminine 2, averaging 20 points and 20 rebounds, Travis pushed for her to join the WNBA, joking that she would be the GOAT if she did.

Clay Travis didn’t hold back when discussing transgender athletes in women’s sports during an appearance on Dan Dakich Unfiltered on Thursday. The OutKick founder claimed the participation of “biological men” should not be entertained before labelling it as “cheating.”
“Well, look, I mean, some people say, ‘Well, why is this such a big topic of debate?’ One, cheating should matter,” Travis said (Timestamp: 18:11). “And cheating is a man pretending to be a woman.”
The issue has been a frequent topic for Travis, who has repeatedly called for transgender athletes to be barred from competing in women’s sports.
He also backed Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham after her comments on the issue in July.
