‘No longer feeling the love from Uncle Joe’

Residents’ animosity towards the Democratic Party runs deep, in line with Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez, who stated the anger has solely been getting worse as a result of rising migrant disaster.

Lopez stated the Black neighborhood feels deserted and is “no longer feeling the love from Uncle Joe,” as the town continues to attempt to make room and particular lodging for migrants.

Voters expressed their anger this week at a rally close to metropolis corridor, with one activist saying Democrats shouldn’t anticipate the 2024 political conference to be “peaceful.”

“When you take a group of people that have paid no taxes, can’t vote and you put them in front of the voters? We’re gonna show you how we feel about the Democratic National Convention. If you think you’re gonna have a peaceful Democratic National Convention while our people are starving, stay tuned!” he stated.

One other girl declared that she was “done with the Democratic Party.”

“Mayor Johnson, Governor Pritzker and President Biden have shown us what they think about the Black community all over this country. … I’d rather deal with a snake that’s outed himself in the Republican Party, than a snake that’s covered up in the Democratic Party!” she stated.

In consequence, Lopez described what he has heard from the streets of Chicago.

“What they are saying about Joe Biden, and certainly the complete Democratic Get together as a complete, is that a lot of the Democratic voters really feel as if this social gathering no longer represents them.”

Lopez stated the Democratic Get together moved too far to the left, “while leaving a vast majority of our voting base off in the wilderness with nowhere else to go but to the embrace of the Republican Party.” He stated voters know what to anticipate from Republicans, whereas feeling deceived by Democrats.

“I think what they’re worried about is that the Democratic Party vocalizes all kinds of things and then does not deliver, actually does quite the opposite,” he instructed Watters.

Mayor Brandon Johnson just lately put the blame for the disaster on his predecessor, Democrat Lori Lightfoot and stated right-wing extremists are “going after democratically-ran cities that are led by people of color.”
