WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is scheduled to take place at Riyadh Season Stadium in Saudi Arabia on November 7. Ahead of the premium live event, there has been concern about the safety of superstars and backstage staff traveling to Riyadh. A new report has indicated why the company is hesitant to relocate the premium live event.
Yemen recently launched airstrikes targeting Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure, including Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport. Meanwhile, the US Embassy in the Middle East issued a security alert advising American citizens to avoid the airport and its nearby locations. Recent reports have suggested that WWE employees are concerned about the company’s upcoming trip to Riyadh for Crown Jewel.

Last week, some reports indicated that WWE was set to relocate Crown Jewel. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as the sports entertainment juggernaut has already begun promoting the premium live event. There have also been rumors about the company having a backup location in mind if it is forced to cancel its trip to Saudi Arabia.
Amid the online chatter, General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh shared a post on X about hard times revealing true friends. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter later reported that Turki’s tweet had put pressure on TKO Group Holdings to proceed with Crown Jewel in Riyadh as planned.
WWE has announced two high-profile matches for Crown Jewel 2026
WWE recently released the official promotional poster for Crown Jewel 2026. The poster features Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Liv Morgan, and Chelsea Green. The company actively started promoting the upcoming premium live event following the conclusion of Money in the Bank in New Orleans.
Reigns successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight at Money in the Bank. This past Monday, it was announced that the OTC will square off against Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel. The bout will be held to determine the 2026 Men’s Crown Jewel Champion.
On the latest episode of RAW, Women’s Champion Chelsea Green interrupted Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Title victory celebration. The duo engaged in a promo battle, where The Miracle Kid insulted The Hot Mess. Green and Morgan will also go to war at Crown Jewel. They will compete for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship on November 7 in Saudi Arabia.
Fans must stay tuned to find out what else the sports entertainment juggernaut has in store for Crown Jewel next month.
