A U.S. Secret Service agent with Vice President Kamala Harris’ element was faraway from their task after participating in a bodily combat with different brokers whereas on responsibility Monday, Fox Information Digital has realized.
The combat was first reported by The New York Publish and confirmed to Fox Information Digital by a supply.
The incident occurred at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland whereas Harris was on the Naval Observatory, however didn’t delay her departure from the bottom, the Secret Service informed Fox Information Digital.

“At roughly 9 a.m. April 22, a U.S. Secret Service particular agent supporting the Vice President’s departure from Joint Base Andrews started displaying conduct their colleagues discovered distressing,” Guglielmi stated in an announcement shared with Fox Information Digital.

He added, “The agent was removed from their assignment while medical personnel were summoned. The Vice President was at the Naval Observatory when this incident occurred and there was no impact on her departure from Joint Base Andrews.
“The U.S. Secret Service takes the security and well being of our staff very critically. As this was a medical matter, we is not going to disclose any additional particulars.”
The agent, who had been acting “erratically,” began punching the special agent in charge after getting on top of him, Real Clear Politics reported.
