Singapore vs China Prediction and Betting Tips

Singapore host China in their last friendly before the 2026 ASEAN Championship at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Kallang on Friday. The Lions are coming off the back of a crushing 4-0 win over Mongolia last weekend, their second win of 2026 from as many games.

Muhammad Baharudin struck a penalty to fire the hosts in front after 22 minutes, while Song Ui-young doubled their advantage shortly after. Orkhony Monkh-Orgil struck an own goal to hand Singapore a three-goal cushion while Ikhsan bin Fandi added a fourth late on.

The massive victory will give them enormous momentum ahead of their clash with China, following which their attention will turn towards the ASEAN Championship next month.

Meanwhile, the Dragon Team are playing their first match since a 2-0 loss to Cameroon in March.

Head coach Shao Jiayi has called up 26 players for this month’s double-header against Singapore and Thailand, including prolific forward Wu Lei. The 34-year-old has scored 36 goals from 99 games for China, while Zhang Yuning will captain the side in this match.

There are only four uncapped players in the squad.

Singapore vs China Prediction

The Lions have a poor record in the fixture and have not beaten their mightier Asian rivals in over 40 years. China are not on a formidable run of form right now either, but their incredible head-to-head record against Singapore suggests that they are not going down easily.

Prediction: Singapore 2-2 China
