“Spideykook confirmed”: Netizens reward BTS’ Jungkook for posting an Instagram story about studying animal stream

On Saturday, September 5, BTS’ Jungkook posted a video of himself practicing animal flow moves on his Instagram story, saying that he wanted to learn the ground-based bodyweight training system.

The video has since gone viral on X, with some netizens comparing his moves to that of Spider-Man, while others commended the artist’s zeal to keep trying out new things. Here are some of the comments:

“Spideykook confirmed”

Spideykook confirmed 👍👍

I’m so proud of everything he does but sometimes I wish he would get enough rest in between tours & heal his body when he can🥹

He is into something new every week but I support everything 🫡

Yet other netizens praised the Golden Maknae for his tendency to pick interesting side quests spontaneously, especially while the septet is already on a packed schedule for their ongoing world tour.

His side quests is so interesting

*animal flow is a form of fitness that resembles yoga, or pilates. it blends four-legged animal movements with elements of yoga, gymnastics, and breakdancing to build strength, flexibility, and body control without any equipment. that’s what jungkook wants to learn!

Thanks Jungkook and thank you admin for the explanation, now I really want to do it🙏

When it comes to fitness, Jungkook is highly disciplined, and keeps adjusting his training to different goals every now and then.

In 2023, the youngest BTS member had shared his ‘Hell Workout’ with fans, which required no added weights and could, therefore, be done anywhere, anytime. It included 100 squats, 30 minutes of ab exercises, 2 sets of 20 lunges, 1 minute of plank hold in all three variations, and 15 burpees.

Such routines are convenient for JK to follow even when the Bangtan Boys are filming music videos, attending fan events, or on the road for tour.

Jungkook opened up about the ideal type of person he wanted around him

Jungkook’s animal flow video comes days after he opened up about the kind of person he wanted around him in a new livestream. The BTS member said:

“There’s a type of person I want. I want someone who’s around my age, enjoys having a drink, and is a bit more talkative than I am. They should be chatty and have a little more passion than me. They should also be interested in things like their appearance and clothing. And also they should enjoy working out. They have to like working out. That’s enough for me.”

While Jungkook didn’t specifically mention if he was talking about a girl or a romantic relationship, the ARMYs joked about the list of qualities to be designed for his potential future girlfriend.

With the BTS reuniting in 2026 after six years, the release of ARIRANG, and the extensive accompanying tour that the septet is currently on, there’s little space left in his schedule for anything else. Not to mention his workouts and brand partnerships.

Jungkook launched his first fashion collection in partnership with Calvin Klein in May 2026, after three years of serving as their global ambassador. Besides CK, the Golden Maknae is also an ambassador for other global brands like Chanel, Hublot, and Graff.

On the live front, BTS has two more concerts scheduled in LA’s SoFi Stadium over the weekend – September 5 & 6 – which will be followed by a break for the rest of the month. The septet will return to South America next month, where they have 14 shows across five countries. Here’s a closer look at their October tour dates:

  • October 2 & 3: Bogotá, Colombia
