Thai flyweight Muay Thai veteran Rambong Sor Therapat has heard the whispers regarding his recent struggles. His answer arrives at The Inner Circle 18 on Friday.
Rambong’s ONE Championship journey has not been a straight line. Back-to-back knockout losses to Suriyanlek Por Yenying and Stephen Irvine threatened to derail a career built on nearly a decade of professional competition.
The 29-year-old from Rambong Muay Thai did not answer them with words. He went back to the gym, rebuilt methodically and returned with three wins in his last four outings. This run includes consecutive decisions over Songpandin Chor Kaewwiset and Pethuahin Jitmuangnon.
Now he faces Sornsueknoi FA Group in a flyweight Muay Thai co-main event at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

For Rambong, this pivotal match will further showcase just how much he has evolved after his tough setbacks.
He told ONE Championship:
“I’ll feel him out first to see what kind of game he brings into this fight. Then, I will adjust my game plan round by round. My confidence is back, so I’m not worried about the doubters who question if I can still fight.”
Rambong also made it clear that fans have yet to see him meet his full potential:
“You’re going to see a whole new version of Rambong, upgrading from 4G to 5G with way more ring intelligence. I’ll give it everything I have. I’m going to win even more fights than before.”
