President Trump on Sunday joined the American Team at the closing ceremony of the Presidents Cup to celebrate their 11th straight win in the tournament.
Trump, who attended as the tournament’s honorary chairman, spent all day at the course watching them win. His last attendance as honorary chairman was in 2017, where the Americans also notched a win.
After the win, American Captain Brandt Snedeker told reporters he wanted to shout out President Trump for the win. “He told me, ‘I was going to bring some energy for you guys. You guys need it.’ And I told him if we did this, he gets all the credit,” Snedeker said. “So, thank you, President Trump.

Later, when asked where this victory ranks for him on his list of achievements at the trophy ceremony, Snedeker described the moment as “really special because I got to meet President Trump today on the first tee,” and the crowd went wild.
“I think, as he told me this morning, he brought some juice for us today, and I told him if this turned out our way, I was going to give him the credit because he definitely brought the juice,” he said. “So, he deserves a lot of the credit for what’s happening today,” he added before shaking Trump’s hand as the crowd continued cheering.

President Trump then presented the trophy to the American team to conclude the ceremony.

The President was later seen shaking hands and congratulating the entire team.
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, President Trump made a grand entrance at the tournament at Medinah Country Club in Chicago with an Air Force One flyover at the course.
He then addressed the crowd of “USA” chanting patriots. After his speech, the crowd began chanting “Four more years,” which Trump acknowledged by pumping his fist, driving the crowd wild.
