From historical scandals to 2026 World Cup inferno: investigated by FIFA and the Department of Justice.

2026 was the year the rest of the world caught up to how utterly vile the Argentine footballers are.

FIFA has confirmed: Argentina will face an investigation into the revolting scenes at the end of the World Cup final.

And now, a mega petition to ban them from the World Cup has amassed more than 23 million signatures.

Yes, you read it right. The petition, titled ‘Argentina Out’ calls for the country to be permanently banned from the tournament.

The petition is focused on the fact that millions of fans around the world noticed a clear, unmistakable referee bias that carried Argentina all the way to the final.

The FIFA ‘investigation’ is focused on the unacceptable behavior of Argentine players after the final match against champion Spain, from the assault against opposing players after the final whistle, to the fact that the Argentine side turned their backs to the moment Spain was raising the World Cup.

And the DOJ is investigating the Argentine Football Federation for money laundering – you need more?

There’s more! It all began back in 1978, on the darkest days of the military dictatorship of General Jorge Rafael Videla.

The format of the ‘78 World Cup was convoluted, so the semifinals were disputed by three teams: Argentina, Brazil and Peru.

The hosts needed a 4-0 win against Peru to reach the final and won 6-0. Years later, several Peruvian players admitted that they accepted bribes or had their changing room visited by the Argentine military junta to secure the loss.

You add to that that in the 1986 Cup detestable star Diego Maradona made a goal against England using his hand, and spent the rest of his short life saying it was ‘the hand of God’; or Argentina in 1990 Cup offering spiked water to an opposing player – it’s a rotten tale.

Euronews reported:

“The petition description accuses FIFA and the referees of being ‘biased toward Lionel Messi and Argentina’, adding: ‘Why should the rest of the world compete when the winner has already been decided? Kick Argentina out of the World Cup and give everyone else a fair chance’.

Now closed, the appeal has more than 23 million signatures – 23,316,108 to be precise. Most impressive of all is how this has nearly broken a world record, as the Guinness World Record for the most signatories stands at 24,319,181.”

[…] ‘Over 23 million people from 170 countries signed this petition in under a week’, states the viral Argentina Out petition. ‘FIFA ignored us but Spain delivered. Thank you Spain’.”
