Women’s pound-for-pound best grappler Helena Crevar of the United States believes her latest performance may have already earned her a fast track to gold.
The New Wave Jiu-Jitsu representative improved to 2-0 in ONE Championship with a unanimous decision over Paige Ivette Clymer in their openweight submission grappling contest at The Inner Circle 22 on Friday at Lumpinee Stadium.
The 19-year-old phenom dominated from the back mount position for the majority of the ten-minute bout.
Just two fights into her promotional run, the teenager is already eyeing the biggest prize in the sport, and she made her intentions clear before even leaving Bangkok.

“This is my second fight in ONE, so I’d definitely love a title shot, probably in my next fight or the one after, whenever it’s possible,” she told ONE Championship.
John Danaher’s first female black belt also made it clear she’ll face anyone.
“No one in particular. Anyone at 155 pounds or at openweight, I’d be happy to face. I’d love to become a ONE Championship World Champion,” Crevar added.

Backing up that ambition is a resume that already places her among the very best in the sport.
Helena Crevar’s greatness transcends gender or weight class, and one she has no intention of surrendering anytime soon.
“I’m the No. 1 pound-for-pound female athlete in the world, and I’ve been undefeated for over a year now in no-gi,” she told ONE Championship. “So, I definitely want to keep that as long as possible.”
The Texas-based sensation added:
“This fight showed that I can even move up a weight class and still win matches and dominate. So, I’m very happy to continue as the No. 1-ranked athlete.”
